Dave (Jason Lee) is about to marry Samantha (Kimberly Williams-Paisley), as much as her son did not take very well with Alvin, Simon and Theodore. They decide to hold marriage in Miami, where they remain for the honeymoon, but the little squirrels are not invited to the party.
